Families and friends are sure to enjoy staying at Yew Tree House situated on the outskirts of Chideock towards Morcombelake, which gives spectacular views of the surrounding countryside from the rear garden.
Yew Tree House is an extremely comfortable and spacious house, with period features and a welcoming wood-burner in the larger of the two sitting rooms. It sleeps up to 7 people so is perfect for family groups or friends and people who simply want more space than a traditional cottage can provide. The atmosphere is so peaceful you may decide to simply relax with a book in the garden sitting room, or on the patio in the large, enclosed garden, enjoying the stunning views of the Dorset countryside. Family mealtimes at the large farmhouse table can be spent planning coastal walks, local market trips, fossil collecting, beach and kayak ventures or fishing trips.
It has two upstairs bedrooms, the master bedroom with a king size bed, a TV and an ensuite shower room, the other bedroom a double bed with a single bunk above, ideal for families with children, a family bathroom with a bath and hand held shower attachment and a downstairs twin bedroom. Also downstairs there are two living rooms both with TV/DVD combos, one with a cosy woodburner and the other a relaxing garden sitting room which extends seamlessly onto the patio and garden from the large kitchen diner, affording stunning views to the adjacent fields beyond. Seatown beach is only a short 20 minute walk away through the fields and leafy lanes.
