THE BOPPER BUS AND WAITROSE GREEN TOKEN SCHEME

The Bopper Bus organisation met with Lorraine Carter of Waitrose at the Leisure Centre on Friday evening when she presented a cheque for £427 to Kate Geraghty Chairman of The Bopper Bus.  This amazing amount was raised by Waitrose via their Green Token Scheme.  Many thanks to Waitrose and all those who supported the Bopper Bus by placing the green token in ‘the Bopper Bus box’ during August. Emma Brown a Youth Worker with Dorset Youth Association also accompanied the children on the bus to
‘learn more’ about how the project is run. The Bopper bus is affiliated to DYA.
The Bopper Bus has now entered into it’s 10th year and we are
hoping to arrange a Bopper Bus Reunion Party to celebrate this milestone.  Many of the original children are now in
their late teens and twenties and it would be great to get everyone together!
