FUNDRAISING HELP FOR BERTIE

Help Us to Raise £8000 for BertieBertie is such a wonderful, happy chocolate labrador and can often be seen walking around Chideock and Seatown with his owner, Carolyn, but he’s recently been diagnosed with degenerative knee ligaments and requires both knee replacements. Read more here to see how you may be able to help.

Lyn Crisp is dedicating her sales of second hand fictional books this year to Bertie’s cause so if you are walking by her house, do stop and browse … and you can also donate your pre-read books too.

You may not know but the Chideock and Seatown Community Website gives donations to local causes such as this. Some of the things we have funded are a noticeboard in Chideock, made donations to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Wheelchair Access for Lucy at Hive Beach. We also made contributions towards the Chideock defibrillator, the Village Hall, the Chideock News and Friends of St Giles.

If you would like to nominate a good local cause, we’d love to hear about it and can even raise awareness on this website to help you raise further money.
