Welcome to “The Clock”
The Clock Inn is a 16th Century village Freehouse that is owned by Michael & Helen Long and Eric & Barbara Arnold and we are currently in our 15th year of ownership.
The pub has had a total refurbishment in 2016 following a devastating fire the previous year.
The Pub is currently home to 27 teams some more successful than others. By the small fire you will find a range of trophies from our table skittles teams and by the big fire are a selection of our dart trophies.
Our skittle alley/games room has another 6 dartboards 1 of which is set at children’s height but you will need to supervise your child if they wish to play darts. The games room is also home to our popular Bar Football table. This room is also available for private bookings.
We have a full menu for all occasions, a selection of set menus for parties, a take away menu and a children’s menu, there is also a selection of daily specials and roasts on Sundays. We have a wide range of Beers, Wines and Spirits and as a freehouse we are proud to offer Chideock’s Cheapest Pint!!
We are a traditional, family friendly village Inn and we welcome well behaved dogs. Dog biscuits and drinking bowls are also available, just ask bar staff.
Please feel free to have a wander round and have a look at our ever growing selection of clocks, currently around 150. There is also a charity bookshelf should you require some reading material and we trust you will enjoy your visit to “The Clock Inn”.
