The Chideock Society are planning two events in November, one indoor and one outdoor.

ARE YOU A “FILM STAR”?
DO YOU OR YOUR HOUSE APPEAR IN THESE FILMS?


Come along to the special showing of the first of many films taken by Bob Brooks during the 1980s and 1990s of events at Seatown and Chideock, including RNLI night, the filming of ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ and ‘The Scarlet Tunic’, Village Fetes, beautiful scenes of the beach and cliffs and many local characters and their homes. 7.30 PM TUESDAY 11TH NOVEMBER in CHIDEOCK VILLAGE HALL. Raffle, refreshments, other items of interest.ENTRY £4.00 (MEMBERS FREE)
The other date is Saturday 29th November when more planting of trees provided by The Woodland Trust to continue the project started in 2012 replacing old boundary hedgerows in an area known as ‘Puddletons’ on East Cliff, Seatown which belongs to the National Trust.  New recruits for planting are always welcome.  Please contact Kate on 01297 489422 if you can help.
