Please join in and attend the Act of Remembrance at the Chideock War Memorial on Sunday November 13th at 10-50 am. The Act of Remembrance is always held on the second Sunday in November, so that it is close to the date of the anniversary of the armistice that formally ended the First World War on 11th November 1918. Two minutes silence will be held at 11.00am this silence represents the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
