Chideock Village Hall and Bookings

Chideock Village Hall hosts a variety of events and is also available for hire either for regular events, one off events or special occasions..  The hall can seat up to 100 people and boasts a large stage with dressing area.  Why not hire the hall for a birthday celebration, a business meeting or perhaps a wake?  Crockery and cutlery is also available for up to 100 people. Regular events at the village hall include bingo and whist.  Bingo is held at the hall on the 1st, 3rd and Thursdays of each month, eyes down at 7.30pm and whist is held on the 2nd, 4th Thursdays of each month, starting at 7.30pm.  Should there be a 5th Thursday in any month there will probably be an extra whist session but please check first.   These are always very enjoyable evenings and the proceeds from bingo and whist go to the village hall funds (helps to keep us warm in the winter). There are three ‘Session’ times available for hire:

The above session times are the standard times but they can be varied upon request. Rates vary according to events, licensing requirements etc and are listed in the table below:

Hirers are reminded that the hall must be left clean and tidy after use and that all rubbish must be removed from the premises. All breakage’s and any damage must be reported.
