Mervyn House is a traditional 1930’s detached property situated in extensive gardens and set well back from the main road in Chideock. The position of Mervyn House offers peace and quiet and yet is centrally situated for all amenities.

The excellent newly built annexe accommodation is furnished to a very high standard and offers a comfortable lounge/dining room with flat screen television, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, a bright and sunny double bedroom, a single bedroom and stunning shower room. There is gas central heating, a very pleasant garden and excellent private parking.

Mervyn House offers this accommodation on an occasional bed and breakfast basis. The accommodation is also offered on a Self Catering basis.

Chideock has a well stocked Shop/Post Office, two churches, a tea rooms, and two Public Houses which do excellent food and offer a take-away menu. Chideock is part of the Jurassic Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers excellent coastal footpaths which lead to Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The beach at Seatown is approximately 15 minutes walk away where you will find The Anchor Inn nestling at the foot of Golden Cap. There is a regular bus service close by to Bridport, Portland (Olympic Sailing Venue), Lyme Regis, Weymouth and other areas well worth visiting.
