- Annie’s Tearooms at Morcombelake.
Met up with friends for delicious coffee & cake at Annie’s Tea rooms yesterday morning and was made to feel very welcome. Lovely setting for a catch up or just a gossip! Coffee was good, cake was good – toast and marmalade was enough to fill you up for the day! Great light lunches and afternoon tea. Will definitely be returning…. Lyn Crisp – Editor

- NOTICES BEING REMOVED!
IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT NOTICES ARE BEING REMOVED FROM NOTICE BOARDS AND POLES. THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST AND IS NOT HELPFUL TO THOSE ADVERTISING EVENTS. IT HAS HAPPENED TO MANY POSTERS THAT I HAVE PUT UP OVER THE YEARS – MAYBE THEY DID NOT LIKE AN EVENT I WAS PLANNING! HOWEVER, WITH PRINTING COSTS ETC., IT IS UNPLEASANT THAT SOMEONE SHOULD SEEK TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO COULD ATTEND THE EVENT ADVERTISED. THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR IS NOT PART OF THE ‘COMMUNITY SPIRIT’ THAT HAS ALWAYS EXISTED IN CHIDEOCK.
- QUIZ NIGHT IN THE VILLAGE HALL.FRIDAY 27TH OCTOBER.
